I used to go to The Stop with my folks when I was a kid and we made trips to Six Flags in DFW. Then I married a soilder at Ft Hood and was a little more then an hour away. Now I live in Upstate NY and totally LOVED that I could still stop by for some wonderful sasuage rolls and cherry Kolache's when I went to see my folks for Christmas! Wouldnt you know it, I bought half dozen of the sausage rolls and only got ONE! My DH ate all the rest of them. I got to stop off there on my way out of Texas and although there were none frozen to take with me I bought another DOZEN and got 2 of those! I so wish I could order some right now to be sent to me. Please consider selling your wonderful pasteries over the net!

We stopped at your store a few months ago & I purchased a couple of the CZECH REFLECTIONS cookbooks. This past Saturday I was working for a friend at her boutique & a couple from Angleton stopped by looking for a czech cookbook. I told them I know the perfect place to get one. So I went home & got out my Czech Reflections & she callled me today & I gave her the address so she could order one. She was very excited. I thought that was such a treat that I got this book & now everyone wants to know where I got it. So you might be getting phone calls for the Czech Reflections cookbook. Please keep me informed if there are any other types of "Czech" cookbooks or czech books available. Thank you so very much.
A happy "Czech" blonde from Schulenburg, Texas

I stop each time I drive to Ft Worth and buy a few dozen to put in the freezer to last me until my next visit. My grandparents introduced me to your kolaches as a child and now I have introduced them to my children. Your baked goods are wonderful and I share with my co-workers here in San Antonio. I am glad that you have stayed in business since my childhood and hope that you have continued success!!!

Until recently, I lived in Austin, Tx. My wife and I would travel to Fort Worth to visit her parents, and as a rule, when you go through West, you have to stop for Kolache's! Not only for our trip, but if we showed up at her parents house with no Kolache's for her dad, he would be SERIOUSLY dissapointed! These folks REALLY know how to bake! I'm a carnivore at heart, so I prefer the sausage and meat filled kolache's, but the other items they make are just as fantastic! I can't wait to get back to Texas, just so I can stop by West!

You're perfectly correct when you say Delicious is your
Business. I started stopping at your store/bakery while
living in Killeen. I made frequent trips back home to Oklahoma and your store soon became a part of my trip. I'd get some kolaches for myself and some to share. Now
I only get to stop when on a vacation. I plan on making
a stop there later this month--on one the way to the beach, and one on the way back. Look forward to your tasty treats.

I was raised on kolaches and klobas by my two wonderful Czech parents. No holiday was complete without baking kolaches all day long. My wonderful parents have passed on. I can make kolaches myself and do sometimes, but why when I can take a short drive to West and pick up some delicious kolaches in every imaginable flavor. They are heavenly and there is no mess to clean up!! I am having company this week and plan on picking up several dozen.
Thanks Czech Stop!

Wow Czech food is great! My Mom warned me how great Czech food was. Back in California, years ago, my parents had Czech friends who lived down the street from them. Saturday, March 22 I was on a road trip from visiting my sister in Austin on my way towards Crested Butte, Colorado for some snowboarding. I stopped in the Czech Stop because I know an incredibly beautiful blonde Czech woman, Katatrina, back in Long Beach California from where I live. She was born in the Czech Republic and is so very sweet. So of course I had to stop and check out the food. I love those kolaches! Yummm. My dream is for her to make me some Czech food soon.

It was a very pleasant experience to stop in recently and enjoy that "kolache cookin" aroma in your bakery. I was there with a significant other on Westfest weekend to visit my sister and her husband who live in West. He was so impressed with the atmosphere of the town, that he is ready to retire in West. Since I am originally from West (Class of 1967), of course, I was extremely proud of my heritage. Hey, I've also seenn other people commenting that you should sell your products via the web. I also work for IBM and working wtih clients such as yourselves to build extensions in the web (e-business) is what I do for a living. I would love the opportunity to speak to you about how you could enter the e-business realm and create for yourself an extension of your store online and increase your revenues. If you are interested, please let me know! I know a lot of people would benefit from a move to the web for you!

Chocolate pound cake rules!!!!
When we plan a road trip, we make sure that part of our trip goes through West. I have never traveled from the Dallas area to Waco without stopping for apricot kolaches, a chubby or two, and most importantly: the chocolate pound cake!
I tried the chocolate croissants on our last trip and was sooo looking forward to buying more of them on our return to Dallas! Sadly, they did not have any.....oh well, guess I'll just have to make a special trip back to West!
My family and I love your bakery and all the friendly people who work there!
Keep up the good work!

Škoda, že si každý víkend nemůžeme zpříjemnit stejně jako ten minulý krátkou návštevou Czech Stop. Trošku překvapení během cesty do Austinu a San Antonia jsme narazili na kousek českého domova tady v Texasu. Samozřejmě kromě koláčů jsme nakoupili i české pivo! Co víc by si český človíček ještě mohl přát...
THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT SUPRISE DURING VISITING TEXAS - A SMALL PART OF CZECH REPUBLIC HERE IN TEXAS! AND THANK YOU FOR THE SIGNES IN CZECH LANGUAGE. QUITE INTERESTING AFTER SO LONG TIME HERE TO READ SOMETHING IN NATIVE LANGUAGE IN A NORMAL SHOP. SORRY, NOT SO NORMAL - YOUR GREAT SHOP! THANK YOU AND SEE YOU SOON - těším se zase někdy přístě.

We use to plan our trips around the stores hours so we wouldn't miss picking up a bag full of goodies. Now we can get them anytime. THANK YOU! WISH YOU WERE IN FARMERS BRANCH!!!

I love the Czech Stop. I grew up in Dallas, then moved to Austin to go to college (and still live in Austin). I've probably made the journey back and forth more than 100 times since. A boring drive, but I stop at the Czech Stop every time. I've never been displeased with anything I've gotten there. The biggest problem - I sometimes buy a dozen or so assorted kolaches with the intention of taking them home. I usually end up eating them all in the car. Oink...

During the summer I always go on a road trip to the east coast and I go out of my way to stop in West to visit my friend Lauren, then I make a stop at Czech Stop. And I have to say not only are the kolaches hot but so are the female workers....*wink wink* Jennifer and Tiffany ;) They are awesome and such good help!

having grown up in the Waco area, I've driven up to West just for your kolaches before. After introducing my wife to them on previous trip home, she makes me stop every time we pass through to pick up a couple dozen chubbies for the road. Who could ask for any better reason to stop? Too bad you don't ship to Virginia....

I have stopped at the Czech Stop more times than I can count on my frequent trips to Dallas. I always pick up sweet rolls to take to my sister's house. And usually I can't resist picking up some other goodies, too. It's good to know that your nice clean facilities and dependable service will be there. I have just one request...please bring back the blueberry and raspberry sweet rolls. My nieces and I miss them!! Well, thanks for everything, and thanks from my daughter, too, for the many happy memories of stopping at the Czech Stop!

Your food is absolutely wonderful! Our group from Milledgeville, Georgia stopped there for lunch last Friday 11/16 on our way from Dallas to Austin. The food was so great that we made plans to stop again on our way back to Dallas.
